The Jhana Publishing Company was founded in 1990 at the
initiative of Ayya Khema in order to spread the teachings
of the Buddha.
Through our work, we want to make it possible that as many
people as possible have access to the teachings of the Buddha.
We publish the discourses, lectures, meditations and contemplations
of Ayya Khema, who, through her work, could communicate a
path leading to greater awareness to many people in the entire
world. In the meantime some of her numerous book have been
translated into ten languages.
Furthermore, our publishing offers include German translations
of the original teachings of the Buddha, in addition to works
by other authors of the Theravada tradition.
